Barbara Dabney received her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in 1975. She worked in Chicago for 6 months and then moved to Houston and worked for Houston Lighting and Power for 4 years. She homeschooled her 3 children for a total of 9 years and was the accompanist for the Episcopal Church of Bellaire. Since that time, she has taught private piano lessons, coordinated the Tuesday morning children’s program at Tomball Bible Church, and taught high school homeschoolers math and science. She enjoys listening to the Beach Boys, the Temptations, Paul McCartney, and Michael W. Smith. She has been playing the piano since she was 6 years old and the dulcimer for the last 2 years. She is looking forward to providing an avenue for the education and enjoyment of music for the community and future generations.

Aimée is an administrative assistant at B2R Cypress. She currently lives in Katy; however, she has lived along Texas' Southeast coast for most of her life. She may not play any instruments, but she loves music. Her taste ranges from classical to indie pop, emo, Latin and modern blues. Her love for music began at an early age when her great grandfather taught her to sing Spanish songs while he accompanied her on his harmonica. She hopes to continue to experience music with love and excitement.
Bill M. is professional musician with over 30 years of experience in the music industry, producing and playing concerts, conferences and events all over the world. A graduate of Boston's internationally acclaimed Berklee College of Music, Bill has played and toured with Musical Artists like: Kirk Whalum, Dianne Reeves, Fletch Wiley, Patrice Rushen, Rachel Rachel, Houston POPS Orchestra, Mignon Murrell and more. An accomplished studio musician, producer, and Musical Director, Bill has worked with various artists and groups from individual Jazz Artists and Rock Acts to Christian Worship bands.
Brandon is a multi-instrumentalist who has 4 years of experience performing professionally for various production companies throughout the country. He has also been writing, recording, and performing original music for almost 10 years. Brandon went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania for music with a focus in percussion. During his time there he has been a member of many ensembles performing jazz, pop, orchestral, and percussion music. He has composed pieces of music that have been performed by the university's ensembles and by himself at recitals. In 2019 he was a percussion instructor for ‘Nomad Indoor Percussion’ who achieved 8th place in A class at WGI world championships. His passion for writing and performing music is as profound as his desire to share it with others.
Chris is an aspiring musician who enjoys creating art for others' enjoyment. His favorite instruments to play are the piano and the guitar however, Chris is a talented multi-instrumentalist. He enjoys various genres of music, such as classical, rock, pop and jazz. His goal is to instill the drive for excellence in his students so that they grow into the talented musicians he knows they can be.
Evelyn has loved music from the start, she has been playing since she was 5. She started out on piano, then began to play flute, clarinet, other wind instruments and eventually she also picked up a guitar. After obtaining her degree in music she became a teacher and taught music for 10 years. Evelyn has performed with many groups, like the Fab 40 cover band. She has also played for various churches. Music is and always has been a major part of her life and she can’t wait to share this love with her students.
Evy P. is a performer originating from the Greater Houston Area. She is an actress, singer, dancer, and composer. She has a B.F.A in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College. Evy has performed for MMC’s Infamous unit’s (ME)Lanin Fest as a soloist, and Infamous Unit’s Black History month program as a soloist. She has performed “A Christmas Cabaret” and “The Greatest Story Never Told” as part of MMC’s Cabaret and Pop/Rock Performance Lab. Favorite past performances include the Oscar Hammerstein Awards (2019 York Theatre Company) and Marymount Manhattan Holiday Songbook at Lincoln Center. Evy enjoys singing with her friends and drinking all the coffee.
Joe is a multi-instrumentalist and voice teacher. He has over 25 years of experience playing the piano. Joe's love of music was inspired by his mom from an early age. He has since been inspired by and enjoys all music, such as jazz, classical and rock. Joe is also a professional audio engineer at Rent House Recording Studios. In his spare time you can find Joe jamming out with friends and other music lovers. He looks forward to watching his students' love and knowledge of music grow.
Jose is a professional cellist of 3 years, turned cello tutor. He has played with The Houston Youth Symphony, Conroe Symphony and Virtuosi of Houston. He has taught students from all over the Greater Houston Area, many of which have qualified and advanced in regional and state competitions. Along with music, Jose also enjoys composing and arranging, cooking, studying medicinal and chemical sciences, and teaching. Jose strives for excellence within his students so that they may become rightful musicians of their own.
Marla is an experienced ukulele musician and singer; she has composed several songs from a young age. She loves playing music with kids and is very excited to bring her love of music to Bach to Rock! She hopes her passion for music will inspire others to experience the world of music.
Ryan is a guitarist and pianist with over a decade of experience in live performance. With a jazz-oriented focus on classical guitar, Ryan also studied audio engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and further explored sound design and film scoring there. He acknowledged his Cajun roots by performing with the university's Zydeco ensemble, while also practicing other styles such as Latin and Blues. Ryan's favorite genres include Math Rock, Indie Folk, and Alternative Hip-hop. His love of music and learning has led him to becoming a teacher with aspirations of studying music therapy. Ryan hopes to instill his love for music in his students.
Travis T. is a professional musician and audio engineer with over 15 years of experience playing music. He primarily plays guitar but is also a bassist and a drummer. Travis enjoys all different types of music as long as it’s fun to play. In his spare time, he is either working in the studio or playing shows with his band. Travis hopes to share the excitement of playing an instrument with others and cannot wait to see how his students progress.
